Emma VigusEXPERTISE

I have over 25 years of experience in business development, marketing and leadership, with a deep focus on the residential property industry and the home-moving process.

Many years of working with business leaders across the property industry from surveying through to Build to Rent and, onto PropTech has allowed me to develop an extensive network of contacts and a comprehensive, commercial understanding of the property ecosystem and the opportunities it presents for transformation.

Recognized as a driver of change and advocate for collaboration, I founded and chaired the award-winning Women in Residential Property network, co-founded and now co-chair the British Property Federation’s Cyber Working Group addressing cyber risks in the built environment, and led efforts to explore alternative Professional Indemnity Insurance models for residential valuers, working closely with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

I’m passionate about:

  1. Delivering pragmatic, impactful advice.
  2. Unlocking the transformative power of effective business development.
  3. Harnessing technology, innovation, and talent to reshape the property industry.
  4. Turning “can’t” into “how can we.”
  5. Breaking silos in the property sector to foster collaboration and drive meaningful change.

Outside of work, I run a smallholding in Herefordshire, manage a growing wild camping business, and enjoy travel, interior design, and food. I’m studying joinery at night school which I thoroughly enjoy despite being utterly incompetent.
